Dave Thomas has been writing software since the mid '70s, and hopes one day to get it right. In the meantime he and Andy Hunt run The Pragmatic Programmers, a consultancy that helps folks develop better software. Hunt and Thomas have co-authored The Pragmatic Programmer and Programming Ruby, and speak at conferences and give tutorials around the world.
