He's spoken around the US on a variety of programming topics including technical debt, project management, automated testing, web agent automation, and effective job searching for programmers.

By day, Andy is a senior programmer for Follett Library Resources in McHenry, Illinois. By night he works on his CPAN modules and his upcoming book for Pragmatic Bookshelf on how to get hired. He lives with his wife Amy, daughter Quinn, and Baxter, the world's neediest dog.
