Anders Karlsson has worked with Relational Database systems for many years, initially in technical support roles, and later as technical consultant and sales engineer. Karlsson has worked extensively with most of the commercial RDBMS systems on the market, for many years specializing in performance and database programming APIs, and more recently with new technologies, such as In-Memory databases and embedded databases.

Karlsson now works at MySQL as a sales engineer and consultant, specializing in MySQL Cluster and in integrations and migrations with other RDBMS systems.

Karlsson's particular areas of interest include:

• Database programming with Embedded SQL, ODBC and other RDBMS API's
