Mark Cox manages the Red Hat Security Response Team. Over the last 11 years, Cox has developed software and worked on the security teams of some of the most popular open source projects including Apache httpd, mod_ssl, and OpenSSL. Cox is a founding member of the Apache Software Foundation and the OpenSSL project, and a board member of the Mitre Common Vulnerabilities and Exposure project.
