John Engates joined Rackspace in August of 2000 and currently serves as Chief Technology Officer, focusing on enterprise product development. Engates was responsible for the development of Rackspace's enterprise service offering, Intensive Hosting. Engates live is San Antonio, Texas and is a graduate of the University of Texas in San Antonio.
