Associate Researcher, MSR India
Rajesh Veeraraghavan has a masters degrees in computer science and economics; has spent over 6 years working as a software developer in various product groups at Microsoft in Redmond and in the Bay area; and is also a very active volunteer at the non-profit AID (Association for Indias Development). He is currently working as an associate researcher at the Technology for Emerging Markets group at Microsoft Research India at the Bangalore office.
Veeraraghavan has been working on a number of projects that look at technology and agriculture, the most notable being an experiment to see whether a set of computer kiosks set up for an agricultural cooperative can be successfully replaced with a less expensive SMS based mobile-phone system.
