Hampton Catlin has been developing web applications since high school
and recently fell in love all over again with the web when he found
the Ruby on Rails platform. Before that, he helped develop a
distributed data crunching system to help Nasa analyze satellite
weather data. More recently, Hampton is the inventor of the Haml
markup language, Sass (Haml for CSS), and the LetIt::REST Rails
modules. He is also co-author on the "Beginning Rails" book by Apress.
Hampton is currently a developer at Unspace Interactive in Toronto,
Ontario.
