Mobile Prototype Unit Nuremberg,
Ericsson GmbH
After his first professional life as Editor-in-Chief of several computer
magazines in Germany, a few cross-country episodes developing Transputer
and SPARC systems in between, Juergen moved on to develop a CMS for
large portals and a Internet Casino as well before settling on the then
emerging mobile communications industry. He worked as a Consultant for
Nokia, Microsoft Mobile, Gate5, Vodafone Global, Sony NetServices and is
now developing a mobile multimedia application based on HSUPA, IMS and
SIP at Ericsson Prototype Division. Juergen covers both the deep
technical system architecture as well as the User Experience part -
talking about GUI interaction flows, C pointers and backplane callbacks
in one sentence if needed. He knows the mobile industry from different
and sometimes not compatible views. Juergen received a B.S in
Electronics from F.H des Saarlandes, Saarbruecken.
