Patrick is a recognized expert on building, managing and driving participation of online communities. Patrick is leveraging his experience to create a global Splunk community of IT professionals sharing knowledge and learning from one another. Prior to joining Splunk, Patrick oversaw SourceForge.net, the world’s largest open source development website. He grew the site from a few thousand users to over a million registered developers and more than a hundred thousand open source software projects. He also founded My-Website Inc, developers of collaborative online communities, and Netjet Communications. Patrick is a frequent speaker and panelist at key industry conferences and holds a B.S. in Computer Science from the University of San Francisco.
