Director of Digital Content and Publishing Services, O'Reilly Media, Inc.

Andrew Savikas is the Director of Digital Content and Publishing Services at O'Reilly Media, where he works to ensure that all of O'Reilly's content is available and accessible in multiple print and digital formats to support book production, Safari Books Online, Print-on-Demand, and direct PDF sales, among other content management and re-use initiatives. His group also provides author, editor, and production tools and support across a variety of applications and platforms, including XML, FrameMaker, InDesign, Word, and OpenOffice. Currently he is working to implement a next-generation content-distribution platform at O'Reilly based around the Atom Publishing Protocol. Andrew is the author of "Word Hacks: Tips & Tools for Taming Your Text" (O'Reilly), and is currently a student in the High Tech MBA program at Northeastern University in Boston.
