John Krumm

Microsoft Research

John Krumm works at Microsoft Research on location projects. He has a PhD from the School of Computer Science at Carnegie Mellon University. He is active in the ubiquitous computing field, where he regularly publishes patents, speaks, and organizes research conferences. At Microsoft, he works on a variety of location-related projects, including the Wi-Fi-based “Locate me” feature of Microsoft’s mapping site, Windows Live Local.
