Director of Product Management, Yahoo! Local

As director of product management for Yahoo! Local, Frazier Miller brings more than eight years of experience leading a variety of high-growth software and internet products, including Yahoo! Global Instant Messaging, where he oversaw all business goals among the Engineering, Marketing, User Experience Design, QA, Business Development, and Program Management teams. While leading the Global Instant Messaging team, Frazier successfully drove the acquisition of Dialpad Inc. to enable VOIP services for IM, resulting in doubled direct revenue for business and increased marketshare in most major markets.

Prior to joining Yahoo!, Frazier served as director of product management at BEA Systems, a large enterprise software company. While at BEA, Frazier managed Web Services and the Java Messaging program over cross-divisional teams. Previously at Nimble Technology, an Internet software company focusing on XML data-integration, Frazier managed every stage of Nimble’s v 1.0 product development and delivery. Additionally, Frazier brings an entrepreneurial spirit as he founded Curespot.com, a business he planned, pitched, secured and staffed that serves as an Internet marketplace for clinical trials. Frazier’s professional capabilities also include years of consulting experience with Deloitte & Touche Consulting Group in Seattle.

Frazier holds a BA in History and English from Dartmouth College and an MBA from Harvard Business School. When not working, Frazier enjoys the outdoors, skiing, surfing, and spending time with his two children.
