President & CEO, Bungee Labs, Inc.

Martin Plaehn serves as President and CEO of Bungee Labs, Inc., an emerging company developing a 100% on-demand application development environment for efficiently creating and instantly deploying rich web applications. Bungee Labs is capitalized with venture financing from North Bridge Venture Partners, Venrock Associates and Wasatch Ventures.

Prior to joining Bungee Labs in June 2006, Martin was a member of RealNetworks’ senior management team; serving as EVP Software Products through 2004 and then leading Real’s rapidly growing Casual Games business until 2006. Martin served as Chairman and CEO of Viewpoint Digital from April 1996 until its acquisition by Computer Associates in October 1998. Prior to Viewpoint, Martin led world-wide product development at Alias|Wavefront, the leading provider of computer graphics modeling and animation systems; joining Wavefront in 1990. Martin started his career as software developer at General Atomic Company in 1978, ISSCO Graphics in 1980, and Template Graphics Software from 1982 to 1990. Martin has a B.A degree from the University of California, San Diego and is a graduate of UCSD's Executive Program for Scientists and Engineers.
