For nearly a decade, Chris Wetherell has been designing and implementing interfaces for web applications and has been doing so as a software engineer for Google since 2004. One of his 20% projects has since become the recently acclaimed feed reading application Google Reader and he has spoken to groups about perceived authority, user needs, and innovation in rich user interface development. In addition to an interest and everyday preoccupation with torturing the browsers you use, he plays drums for rock bands such as Citizens Here and Abroad who are kind enough to allow him to tour internationally in the software off-season.
