Dane Avilla

Since co-founding PalmOS development shop Infinity Softworks, Dane Avilla has spent over 10 years in the trenches writing software for the web and mobile computers, primarily as a commercial and government contractor. As a Silicon Valley expatriate currently living in the eastern US, he has fled the clutches of the C programming language and is currently enjoying the cosy duo of Ruby and Groovy. The real-world challenges of fixing latent bugs in large legacy codebases while coordinating with remote development teams spurred his interest in testing as a way to make software development "cheaper, faster, better".
