Jason Allen
Jason is co-founder and Vice President of Engineering at Ohloh, a community and information resource for people who create and use open source software. Jason was responsible for the architecture, design, and implementation of the distributed Web services tools platform at Microsoft. Throughout his tenure at Microsoft Jason has held such positions as Development Manager for XML Web Services and as Development Lead for Microsoft Office where he drove the design, architecture, and implementation of several components, including Excel Spreadsheet & Charting XML as well as several Charting Engines. Jason has authored several software patents and holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science (Honors) from McGill University in Montreal Canada.
