Jason Zajac
As the GM of Social Media at Yahoo!, Jason is responsible for overseeing the company’s product offering for Yahoo! Video, Image Search and Audio Search, Podcasting and the Flickr photo sharing community site. These products and services seek to leverage Yahoo!’s core search technology platforms as well as enable personalized and community-driven discovery of rich media content, plus user content creation and publishing. Jason was previously the VP of Strategy for Search and Marketplace at Yahoo!.

Prior to joining Yahoo!, Jason was the Vice President of Strategy and Business Development at Palm, Inc., where he was responsible for corporate strategy, product planning, market research, and business development and licensing.

Before his experience at Palm, Jason was a founder and Principal at iFormation Group, a private equity incubator co-funded by Goldman Sachs, General Atlantic Partners, and the Boston Consulting Group. Previously he spent five years at BCG in the firm’s technology, media, and consumer goods practices in San Francisco, Los Angeles, Amsterdam, and Seoul. Jason also worked for the Walt Disney Company as a Sr. Analyst in Planning and Development in Tokyo.

Jason holds an MBA from the Stanford University Graduate School of Business and a BA in International Relations from Stanford University.
