Letting users create, upload, manipulate, and reuse content is a hallmark of many "Web 2.0" businesses. Unfortunately, copyright law is not always as flexible as web developers wish it were, which means that certain design decisions are informed (dictated?) by the copyright and contract law. We'll take a look at YouTube, Wikipedia, and Flickr with an eye toward uncovering how these guys handle the uncertainties.
