Ajit Jaokar

Ajit Jaokar is the co-author of the book 'Mobile web 2.0' . Ajit is a member of the web2.0 workgroup . He spoke recently on Web and Mobile technology at MIT Sloan and Stanford University. He is currently doing a Phd on real time user generated content distribution using SIP/P2P on wireless networks.

He featured recently on CNN money, The BBC digital planet and The Scoble show.

His blog is OpenGardens .The OpenGardensBlog was recently rated a top 20 wireless blog worldwide.. The OpenGardens blog is also syndicated on the W3C’s Mobile Web Initiative/ Planet Mobile

Ajit chairs Oxford University’s Next generation mobile applications panel and conducts a course on Web 2.0 , User generated content and IMS at Oxford University.

Ajit lives in London, UK, but has three nationalities (British, Indian and New Zealander) and is proud of all three. He is the CEO of the publishing company futuretext.
