Director, Software Engineering ,Web Development, E*TRADE FINANCIAL

As Director of Web Development at E*TRADE FINANCIAL, Frank Gutierrez has implemented numerous Web 2.0 initiatives including Information Station, Trading Tickets, and Order History and Management. With a current focus on the next generation JavaScript framework implementation, Frank also leads the complete re-engineering of E*TRADE FINANCIAL's online application process into a highly scalable modular system, improving the customer experience and conversion ratios, increasing the overall reliability, and providing significant cost savings through the implementation of digital signatures.

Prior to joining E*TRADE FINANCIAL in 1998, Frank worked for seven years at Charles Schwab & Co., where he coordinated the development, design and implementation of back-end systems necessary to support the Schwab One and Schwab One Access products. Frank has a BS in Economics in from the University of California, Davis, and an MBA with emphasis in Computer Science from the University of San Francisco.
