BOF

Google Mapmaking

Date: Wednesday, June 29
Time: 9:00pm - 10:00pm
Location: Yorkshire Room

TrackBackTrackBack

This BOF is a networking opportunity for enthusiasts of the new Google Maps service. It's a chance to meet peers, show off your work, compare notes and ask questions.

Discussion will cover both business-side issues (e.g. ideas for new killer apps, how to sell your Google mapmaking skills, speculation on what Google's long term plans are for the service and how licensing might work), as well as technical issues (how to deal with rapid-fire new maps.js versions, various tricks of the trade, etc).

Programmers who have previously worked with Google Maps or intend to soon should attend. The session should also be of interest to any attendees with business propositions for Google Mapmakers.

**Note that this BOF is not sponsored by or associated in any formal way with Google.
