Short of pacemakers, mobile phones are the electronic devices that we hold closest to our hearts, minds and social lives. As they morph into personal multimedia production studios they allow us to capture and share experiences wherever we are and whenever we feel like it. I'll be delving into some of the issues we faced when developing Socialight, a locative media system using mobile phones and exploring which business models can be realized by the coming wave of locative media developers.
