Big Games are large scale, real-world, multiplayer games that use physical location and proximity to transform public space. But the ties to local space have meant that different parts of the world spawn very different types of games. In this Where 2.0, national boundaries matter. In this talk, a few examples of Big Games from Asia and Europe will illustrate the concrete ways that local infrastructure inspires and defines these new forms of entertainment.
