Pat is a Software Architect and an active open source software developer; evangelizing Open Geospatial Standards for data dissemination. He is involved with OGC, and GeoRSS to distribute data from many government agencies such as NASA GSFC, JPL, USCG, Navy... Lead developer of GeoBliki: A Blog and a Wiki for GeoSpatial Information, he is also a member of the Program Steering Committee for Community MapBuilder, the Open Source Ajax mapping client, a founding project of the Open Geospatial Foundation. He was previously involved with many on-board intelligence satellite programs still flying today. With the help of the extended NASA EO-1 team, eo1.geobliki.com is one of the first OGC SensorWeb-enabled (SWE) data nodes.
