Sonya Huang

Sonya Huang is a PhD candidate in the Department of Urban Studies and Planning at MIT and a member of the Urban Information Systems group. At the SENSEable City Laboratory, where iFIND was conceived, she has worked on projects examining the real time spatial distribution of WiFi and mobile phone use. Her research interests include social, ethical, and economic impacts of urban information technologies, institutionalization and management of urban spatial data, and real-time urban systems.
