Speaker

Sheena Marie Marquez

Developer and Undergaduate, University of California, Santa Cruz

Sheena has done development work for BlackBox, Team Red, and Team Marble. Her portfolio includes Prophecies of Oriena: The Catalyst Begins (an RPG), BlockParty (a multiplayer board game for PCs), and Marble Madness (a 3D marble puzzle game with customizable maps and motion capture device input). Marble Madness was demoed at the Game Developers Conference 2007 and Maker Faire 2007. She is currently working with her team, DMM Games, on a Sci-Fi Shmup based adventure game called Demonic Voyage. All projects were completed for the following respective courses at the University of California, Santa Cruz: CMPS 80K (Foundations of Interactive Game Design), CMPS 115 (Software Methodologies), CMPS 160 (Intro. to Computer Graphics), and CMPS 116 (Software Design).
