O'Reilly & Associates is pleased
to announce the O'Reilly Emerging Technology Conference.
We're seeing the emergence of a new network--distributed,
wireless, and interactive. We're moving from client-server architecture to
one in which applications connect user-to-user, device-to-device,
service-to-service, and program-to-program in distributed networks.
Web services and P2P -- the topics of our highly successful
O'Reilly
P2P Conference in San Francisco and
O'Reilly P2P and Web Services
Conference in Washington, DC.--are only part of this transformation.
The other important players lie in the growing realms of distrubuted networking
infrastructure, identity services, wireless networking, GPS/GIS location
services, standards, privacy, and security. At our new conference,
we've invited the emerging technology innovators to share their discoveries
and passions.
Why Attend?
The O'Reilly Emerging Technology Conference is more than a
showcase of vendors and technologies. You'll enter a mix of the most
innovative original technologists, programmers, business developers and
policy-makers, becoming part of a conversation that explores and
invents this growing realm. Through sessions, Birds of a Feather meetings,
hallway conversations, and chance encounters, you'll become involved in the
creation of this new network. You'll also test drive the latest products
and services from over 50 sponsors and exhibitors, and meet the
professionals behind these new technologies.

Registration will open in January 2002.
