Summary:
As we and our loved ones age, we come into more frequent contact with the healthcare system. In very much the same ways that open source has transformed technology, leaders in the world of health care believe that Open Source can help revolutionize the global healthcare system. This will be the first gathering of leaders of the healthcare system and members of the Open Source movement. The goal is to create or adapt open source technologies and tools that can improve healthcare quality.
