B2B Made Easy Using J2EE and ebXML
Speaker: Glen Martin
Track: J2EE
Date: 03/28/2001
Time: 11:30am - 12:15pm
Location: Ballroom D

The J2EE platform provides a robust infrastructure for building enterprise systems and creating server side business processes. EbXML is defining an open and inter operable standard that enables B2B communication between trading partners, based on reliable XML messaging . This paper shows how business processes implemented using J2EE components can conduct B2B exchanges with business partners that implement the ebXML standard. The talk will show how J2EE technologies such as EJBs, servlets, JSPs, XML data binding and Java Message Service (JMS) work together to make B2B communication simple and reliable. The talk will also include a preview of the upcoming Java API for XML Messaging (JAXM) specification.
