Breuer
Peter T. Breuer
is Associate Professor at the Univ. Carlos II de Madrid
in Madrid Spain. He is known for his work on formal methods,
particularly in connection with hardware design and the
hardware design language VHDL. He has spent a working life
in research in the Engineering department of the University
of Cambridge, the Computing Laboratory of the University of
Oxford, and the Telecommunications School of the Polytecnic
University of Madrid. In the free software world, he is probably
best known for his compiler-compiler PRE-CC,
an infinite lookahead, fully attributed language compiler that fits
on top of C and C++ and has been in use around the world for ten years.
