Horst Herb
Horst Herb was born 1963 in Germany, studied human genetics, anthropology and medicine in Munich, Germany, founded a software engineering company in 1984, developing medical expert systems, pharmaceutical simulation packages and signal recognition & interpretation software (ECG etc.), and hospital administration software. He worked as a surgical registrar in Munich and northern Norway, and the past 2 years as a General Practitioner and Surgeon in rural Australia. Recently founded the open source collaborative "GNUMed project."
