Ted Gilchrist
Ted Gilchrist has worked for Oracle Corporation since 1994, first in Redwood Shores, California, and now in Nashua New Hampshire. He is currently responsible for the design and administraton of the Oracle documentation archive, which is the repository for all technical documentation. Ted has been using Perl since 1992, principally in creating tools for operating on documents. (His first Perl tool was for converting documents from TeX to FrameMaker). During the past four years, he has concentrated on creating self-service web applications for technical writers.

Ted "grew up speaking Lisp", and holds a Masters degree in Linguistics from U.C. Berkeley.
