JXTA Community Meeting Date: Tuesday, May 14 Time: 7:00pm - 10:00pm Location: Stevens Creek Room JXTA will hold a community meeting Tuesday May 14, 2002 at 7 PM at the Westin Santa Clara, in conjunction with the O'Reilly Emerging Technology Conference. Project JXTA started as a research project at Sun to address the peer-to-peer space. JXTA is a set of open, generalized peer-to-peer protocols that allow any connected device (cell phone, to PDA, PC to server) on the network to communicate and collaborate. Bay Area Wireless Users Group (BAWUG) Date: Wednesday, May 15 Time: 7:00pm - 9:00pm Location: Stevens Creek Room The Bay Area Wireless Users Group (BAWUG) will hold its monthly meeting at the Westin Santa Clara in conjunction with the O'Reilly Emerging Technology Conference. BAWUG was founded to promote wireless use for the Greater San Francisco Bay Area.
