Getting Out & About

The Westin Santa Clara is within minimal driving distance of the San Jose, San Francisco and Oakland International Airports. For specific driving directions, please refer to the Hotel/Travel page for detailed instructions.

Amtrak
There is an Amtrak station in Santa Clara at Tasman Ave. and Great America Parkway underneath the Tasman Avenue overpass. The Great America Santa Clara stop is on the Capitol Corridor route with service to/from Sacramento. There are three trains daily. (800) USA-RAIL.

BART
Bay Area Rapid Transit (BART) is a high-speed train serving the Greater San Francisco Bay Area and the Oakland Int’l Airport. You can take the Santa Clara County Transit to and from the Fremont BART station. (510)441-2278

If you are arriving into the San Francisco Int’l Airport, you can find convenient and easy transportation to the Westin Santa Clara via the Super Shuttle. Visit Super Shuttle online for more information regarding reservations, fares and arrival/departure times.

Just for Kids

The Westin Santa Clara provides an entertainment package to all children staying at the hotel. Upon check-in, your children will receive a fun bag filled with an activity book, crayons, a drink cup, and more. Dining in the Westin Santa Clara at the Tresca Restaurant is fun for kids too. This upscaled golf and tennis club offers more than meets the eye. After a challenging game of golf, relax with a drink in David's Restaurant.

Paramount's Great America

Paramount's Great America theme park is fun for the entire family. Located within walking distance of the Westin Santa Clara, you can turn a lazy afternoon into a thrill seeking adventure. For the adults seeking a new rollercoaster experience, take a ride on the "Stealth"...no floors, no walls, no ceilings...a breaktaking experience.

Intel Museum

At the Intel Museum in Santa Clara, you can experience first hand the evolution and power of the computer chip. Walk through a self-guided tour and view exhibits such as "Memory Technology", "How Microprocessors Work", "How Chips are Made" and the "History of the Microprocessor".
