802.11b Wireless ConnectivityWe are providing wireless connectivity to the Internet at this conference via 11Mb high-speed devices. You are welcome and encouraged to use your own wireless equipment to access our network, available throughout the conference area in the Hotel. We are unfortunately unable to provide technical support or assistance with wireless connectivity. To connect, be certain that you are running the latest drivers and firmware for your wireless device. In practice, the overwhelming majority of connectivity issues have been resolved by installing the latest drivers and firmware. Please take note that each user on the network is responsible for his or her own security. As this is an open network, you are advised to disable any open ports or shares you do not want exposed. For privacy, we recommend that you use a secure tunnel through a trusted server when accessing network services such as email and web sites. OS X users please be certain that Internet Connection Sharing is turned off: Apple Menu -> System Preferences -> Sharing -> Internet -> Press "Stop" if indicated. Online Evaluation FormsSpeaker evaluation forms and conference evaluation forms are available online. The combination of a wireless network and online evaluation forms means that you can evaluate a session while it's taking place. Complete an evaluation form for every tutorial or session you attend and complete a conference evaluation to rate your overall experience. We want to hear from you, as some of the best ideas for improving our events have come from you - the attendee. By completing an evaluation, you will be entered into a drawing to receive one of two free passes to an O'Reilly conference of your choice. Conference Session Files OnlineFor a limited time after the conference, session files will be available for download.
