Getting Out & About
The Westin Santa Clara is within minimal driving distance of the San Jose, San Francisco, and Oakland International Airports. For specific driving directions and information regarding shuttle service to the conference headquarters hotel from Bay Area airports, please refer to the Hotel/Travel page.
Amtrak
There is an Amtrak station in Santa Clara at Tasman Ave. and Lafayette Street, underneath the Tasman Avenue overpass. The Great America Santa Clara stop is on the Capitol Corridor route with service to and from Sacramento. There are three trains daily. 1 (800) USA-RAIL.
BART
Bay Area Rapid Transit (BART) is a high-speed train serving the greater San Francisco Bay Area and the Oakland International Airport. You can take the Santa Clara County Transit to and from the Fremont BART station. (510)441-2278
Just for Kids
The Westin Santa Clara provides an entertainment package to all children staying at the hotel. Upon check-in, your children will receive a fun bag filled with an activity book, crayons, a drink cup, and more. Adjacent to the Westin Santa Clara, the Santa Clara Golf & Tennis Club offers 18 holes of championship golf on a professionally-designed course by Robert Muir Graves. This upscale golf and tennis club offers more than meets the eye; additional facilites include seven lighted tennis courts, a 35-station lighted golf practice range, putting greens, and a golf pro shop. Intel Museum
At the Intel Museum in Santa Clara, you can experience first-hand the evolution and power of the computer chip.
