Werewolf
Jane McGonigal, Lead Game Designer, Institute for the Future
Artur Bergman, Engineering Manager, Six Apart
Location: Elizabeth F
Time: 9:30PM - 11:30PM

Werewolf is a game of paranoia and group behaviour. Alternatively known as Mafia, Witchhunt or Zombie Village, it is based on the "Sleep, Acuse, Debate and Lynch" game cycle. In a fascinating group setting, the objective of the villagers is to lynch the werewolves before the werewolves kill them all. While the villagers have the upper hand in numbers, they lack to crucial knowledge of who is a werewolf, while the werewolf naturally posses this information. In a match of wit, everyone tries to bluff each other. The rules are simple: follow the moderator's instructions, do not reveal your card during gameplay and never ever speak when you are dead. It is also a smashing way to learn to know your fellow conference-goers while having fun.
